Inessens is delighted to have accompanied ESTANDON in the development of their Coteaux d’Aix en Provence PDO wine from their EMOTION range.
The labels of the Coteaux d’Aix en Provence PDO are for the most part very classic and are meant to reassure consumers.
Here is a very innovative one in two materials, polypro printed in hot silver and a paper label laminated on top.
Lucie Fourastié, Estandon’s communications manager, explains how the development followed by our regional sales manager, Monique Derreumaux, went:
“As with all our ESTANDON vintages in supermarkets, the objective for the pack was to create an elegant, accessible bottle, highlighting a strong graphic element in addition to the ESTANDON brand name underlined with a bold line. Philippe Brel, our director, while we were discussing all this, was scribbling on a piece of paper and a big X appeared; the X of AIX of course, we immediately thought of it as ‘hollowed out’. So we entrusted the project to Monique, who always knows how to suggest the best techniques for a haute couture result. We had our doubts at first, but the result on the bottle is such that everyone loves this modern version of the label and the audacity of the technique. In addition to the hollow X, Monique proposed a double material label; inside the X is polypro and this is printed with a kind of ‘vibration’ design in silver gilding; and these kind of waves, vibrations, radiate through a pantone print on the white paper of the label. The innovative side scared us at first; but we did well to trust Monique, once again 😉 “
