Founded in 1927, the Cave des Vignerons d’Igé is one of the first cooperatives in the Mâconnais. Nestled between Cluny and Mâcon, it brings together around fifty winemakers who, generation after generation, keep alive a winemaking expertise deeply rooted in their terroir.
It is in this spirit of transmission that the younger cooperative members conceived Enracinés, a Mâcon-Igé AOP made from Chardonnay, hand-harvested and partially aged in oak barrels.
To showcase this exceptional cuvée, only a label of equal distinction would do. It was our printing house ROY, based in Burgundy, that rose to the challenge, bringing the full breadth of its expertise to this fine adhesive label project:
- Bianco Ultra WS cotton paper: a soft, velvety material that immediately lends the label a beautiful character
- Curved pearlescent foiling: applied over the roots of the visual, it adds dimension and a genuinely tactile presence
- Chocolate foiling: understated and warm, it highlights the name of the cuvée without overstating it
- Satin flexo varnish: laid over the foiling, it provides that finishing touch which makes all the difference
The result speaks for itself: a cohesive label in which every print decision reinforces the identity of the wine.
Proof that, when printed with care, a label becomes just as expressive as the wine it adorns.
