It was during a field prospecting visit that Mélodie, our Sales Manager for the Cognac area (departments 16 & 17), met Jean-Paul Mounier and his son Rémi Mounier, owners of Domaine Mounier in Charente-Maritime.
From this great encounter emerged a collaboration built around an ambitious project: the creation and printing of a new range of wines dedicated to the hospitality sector (CHR), carried out by the entire Mounier family.
A story of family and legacy
Client testimonial:
“Our prestige range marks a turning point, as the third generation takes the lead at Domaine Mounier. It is a passing of the torch, linking our roots to a new era. These three wines are born from family heritage, transmitted know-how, and a fresh perspective on our exceptional terroir.
It is also about:
– Luca and Rémi, the third generation balancing tradition and innovation
– Three single-plot cuvées expressing the uniqueness of our land
– Wines made from a single grape variety : Syrah, Chardonnay, and Merlot, bringing out the purest expression of the vineyard. Exceptional wines to discover without delay.”
Testimonial from Mélodie Bret, our Sales Manager for the Cognac area:
“During our first meeting, Jean-Paul and Rémi Mounier shared their wish to launch a new prestige wine range dedicated to professional hospitality channels.
Throughout our discussions, the idea of featuring the Tour de Beaumont located near their estate in Charente-Maritime naturally emerged as a powerful symbol of their family heritage.
The illustration of the tower was created by our Atelier 7 graphic designer, with the challenge of winning the approval of all three generations!
The color palette was carefully chosen to reflect the grape variety of each cuvée and the shades of the surrounding parcels. I also recommended an ‘enveloping’ label format and tactile varnish to highlight the cuvée, bringing a contemporary touch to the whole identity.
We supported the Mounier family in the creation and development of the new Domaine Mounier visual identity that of the third generation.”
Techniques
To illustrate this new range, Domaine Mounier chose to highlight their family heritage by featuring an illustration of the Tour de Beaumont, located next to their estate in Charente-Maritime.
Several techniques were used: an enveloping front and back label, along with different tones to evoke the grape varieties, the soil, and the art of winemaking. In addition, a tactile digital varnish was applied to emphasize the Domaine Mounier name, the cuvée designation, and the Tour de Beaumont.
